A coonhound named Remi has been rescued after falling 50 feet into a cave. The dog's owner contacted authorities for assistance after the incident occurred on private property. Multiple agencies, including the Indiana Conservation Officers, responded to the scene.

A specialized rescue team, along with an experienced caver, descended into the cave to secure Remi. Fortunately, the dog was found to be uninjured despite the significant fall. A mechanical haul system was used to pull Remi back to the surface.

The successful rescue was attributed to the quick coordination and teamwork of those involved. Further details of the rescue effort are available.
