Metro Nashville Police's efforts to curb street racing have resulted in recent arrests. The Street Racer Initiative, aimed at reducing excessive speeding, led to four individuals being taken into custody overnight. The arrests were made after a police helicopter spotted a Tesla driving alongside two motorcycles at high speeds.

The driver of the Tesla, identified as a 19-year-old, was stopped at a gas station with the help of the aviation unit and officers on the ground. All four suspects are currently being held in jail.
