Appalachian Bear Rescue has taken in four additional bear cubs after a successful rescue in Washington County. The cubs, six months old, were rescued after their mother was killed by a vehicle. The rescue increases the facility's population, providing companions for a previously rescued cub.

The cubs will undergo deworming treatments and be introduced to each other before being released into a new enclosure. Further details about the rescue and the cubs' condition are available from Appalachian Bear Rescue and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, which assisted in the rescue.
