A forensic analysis has shed light on the origins of human remains found in a residence. The bones, which belong to at least five individuals, were discovered in a box and initially thought to be from a Native American burial. However, experts have since determined that the bones were actually used for medical instruction, as evidenced by cut marks and wired vertebrae.

Further examination revealed that some of the bones had been embalmed, suggesting they may have been exhumed from a coffin decades ago.

The investigation is ongoing, with forensic experts working to handle the remains and potentially conduct DNA analysis.
