A recall of certain grill brushes has been expanded. The brushes pose a risk of serious internal injuries due to small metal wire bristles that can detach. At least 54 reports of detached bristles have been made, with some cases resulting in ingestion and subsequent medical treatment.

Conair is aware of these incidents, including three cases where people swallowed metal bristles. An initial recall in July involved nearly 1.7 million brushes.

The expanded recall now includes over 3.6 million brushes sold through various retailers, including Walmart and Amazon. Further information on the recall is available from the source.
